Muji Cleansing Oil for Sensitive Skin

I’ve tried many different methods and products for removing my makeup at the end of the day, and cleansing oil is definitely one of the best in terms of cleansing power. I picked up Muji’s Cleansing Oil for Sensitive Skin some time ago during a sale and the 20% discount was too great to resist.

Muji’s minimalist, clean-cut packaging is one of the hallmarks of the brand that is so unique in a market saturated with pretty packaging vying for your attention.

Ingredients list. This 200ml bottle only costs $13, and with the 20% discount, it’s really affordable.

I’m using the NARS Jezebel Duo Eyeshadow swatches as a demonstration.

This cleansing oil is one of the thickest I’ve tried, and the consistency is a little difficult to work with so I try to use a little more to make blending easier.

However, it’s cleansing power is quite amazing and the swatches disappear very hardly any rubbing. Makeup dissolves easily when I use this cleansing oil and it emulsifies easily with water. It doesn’t leave a oily residue after rinsing my face with water, despite it’s thick oily consistency, but I still prefer to double cleanse with a foaming cleanser.

There is one thing I don’t quite like about this, which is the scent. It literally smells oily, which is kinda hard to describe unless you try it for yourself, but it’s not a scent I like at all. This is one power-duty cleansing oil that removes all traces of my makeup at the end of the day without causing my skin any problems.
