For the longest time since I got my first Burberry Blush in Blossom, I managed to resist the urge for more. I was contented. But after more than a year, I was faced with an attractive discount as well as gift vouchers that screamed to be spent wisely. So I caved in and bought another Burberry blush in Russet.

Jac from Beauty Hoard and I attended a Burberry event late last year, and we had a lovely day out! This was only part of my haul for the day, the other items to be revealed in due time =)

Russet is a gorgeous orange-brown blush which is quite distinct from the usual pinks, peaches and even corals. The brown tones gives it a summer-bronze look that’s perfect for Singapore’s forever summer feel.

Swatched in natural light.

Swatched in flash light.

The texture is smooth and powder finely-milled. Burberry’s products have a nice subtle, natural finish which I love, and this shade fits my medium skintone quite perfectly. With the recently rainy weather, it’s definitely time to break out some warm, sunny shades to play with to counter the dreary weather!
