I’ve been travelling quite a fair bit this year, be it for work or for vacation. As a rule, I’m very minimalist when it comes to packing my makeup. In fact, when I’m travelling for vacation, I hardly apply any makeup at all, and for work, I stick to the bare minimum of foundation and blush. During my recent Eastern Europe trip, I brought along this Stila Convertible Color Duo, which turned out to be a great travel buddy!

I really love this compact case for the beautiful floral designs, and it’s super lightweight, but not flimsy.

It opens up to two lovely shades, Lilium and Gerbera. Lilium is a dusty rose, while Gerbera is a cheerful peach-pink. Both shades are extremely versatile and it helps that they can double up as both a cheek and lip tint! Convenience is what I look for when packing my makeup, and this scores very highly!

Pigmentation is amazing, and all I really needed was a little dab and blending with my fingers is a breeze. I stuck mostly to Gerbera during the trip, as it really gave me a lovely peachy-pink flush on my cheeks without being too obvious. I also dabbed on some Lilium onto my lips during our nights out in town. My only gripe is having to dip my fingers into the product, which isn’t all that hygienic, but it’s not that big a problem after I get over the initial germaphobia attack.

This baby seriously made my vacation makeup routine a breeze! I’d probably bring this along on my next trip too!
