Blush Crush – Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek PK301 & OR302

July 12, 2011 at 9:43 pm | Posted in Beauty | 5 Comments

This post is for the benefit of a dear blogger friend who asked to see swatches of Majo Majo’s Puff de Cheeks. There were 3 Puff de Cheeks released in the Spring 2011 Sugary Trap collection, and Pk303 Strawberry Macaron was the LE shade which is no longer available in stores. I had been quite successfully resisting these, until Watsons decided to have a 25% discount many moons ago. Naturally I caved in and bought these two home with me.

From left: PK301 Peach Macaron and OR302 Apricot Macaron. As usual, the packaging for MM is super cute =)

Another wave of cuteness hits when you open the case and find the puffs sitting right beneath. The colour coordinated ribbons are a very nice touch indeed =P

The actual blushes hidden beneath the puffs are actually pretty deep within the metal pots. With 7g of product, you need never worry about running out.

PK301 Peach Macaron is as the name suggest, a cutesy peach pink shade, one of those universally flattering shades.

OR302 Apricot Macaron is a much warmer orange coral shade that I’d think would be more flattering to warm skintones.

Swatched in natural light. Both shades have both the silky texture and the sheer pigmentation common in Japanese brands.

Swatched in flash light. These are very versatile blushes and can easily go on sheer or layered for intensity. One thing I really love about Japanese brand blushes is that it gives you so many options on how you want the blush to turn out. You never really have to worry about overdoing it!

Both shades are still readily available in local stores and if anyone needs any help locating them, just holler =)
