Missha Signature Real Complete BB Cream

When I first started out using BB cream, one of my favourites was Missha’s Perfect Cover BB Cream. Eventually, everyone and their sub-brands came out with different BB creams and the market got really saturated. I was too busy exploring new brands, but never forgot my love for Missha. When I came upon Missha’s Signature Real Complete BB Cream, I decided to give it a shot to see how it compared to my old fave.

The pink flower packaging is easy one the eyes, and unlike the Perfect Cover which had a soft tube, this one came in a hard plastic tube.

I picked up Shade 23, which is usually just a shade or half a shade lighter than my skintone. Missha is one of the brands that have increased their shade ranges to 13, 21, 23, 27 and 31. That’s quite an improvement from the usual two shades that Korean brands put out.

One good thing that Missha has kept in their BB cream is the very hygienic pump dispenser.

The Signature Real Complete BB cream has a creamy texture, that if I recall correct, it slightly less thick than the Perfect Cover.

Coverage is medium without being cakey or feeling too heavy. The creamy texture makes it easy to blend and apply with my preferred method of using a brush. The finish is semi-matte, not as matte as the Perfect Cover, but I wouldn’t say it’s dewy either. Oil control was slightly above average, with shine starting to show up on my combi/oily T-zone skin just after 6 hours.

This is another solid addition to Missha’s BB cream range, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a BB cream with a wider range of shades.
