Hada Labo BB Moist Emulsion

I’m a fan of Hada Labo skincare, and did quite like the Hada Labo BB Moist Cream which I bought at Narita Airport en route to the US last year. I managed to pick up the BB Moist Emulsion on the way back from the US to round out the pair, and even till now, these have yet to launch in Singapore!

I’m back from Korea! *Waves*

I spent an awesome week in Korea, mainly in Seoul and Jeju – sightseeing, eating, mountain climbing and of course shopping. =P As with all holidays, this one passed much too quickly and now I’m back home suffering from withdrawal syndrome. More about my Korea hauls to come, once I’ve had the chance to unpack and sort my purchases from CPs..

Today’s post was requested by dear Maria – she wanted to see what’s in my travel makeup/skincare pouches as I’ve had an insane couple of months of flying in and out for both work and leisure. Four trips in fours months is a bit of a record, even for me.

Hada Labo BB Moist Cream

Sorry for the lack of posts last week, this pesky cough is driving me nuts.. But I’m trying to get back into blogging as I have so much to write about! Let’s get on with it!

I picked up Hada Labo’s BB Moist Cream during my transit at Narita Airport in Tokyo on my way to New York. Being a huge fan of Hada Labo’s skincare, I’d been lemming to try their BB cream once I heard of it. But it hasn’t been launched in Singapore yet, so I was really happy to spot it in the little drugstore in Narita.

Hada Labo AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash Foam

I got this a couple of weekends ago, on a random trip to Watsons. Recently I’ve been loving mousse/foam cleanser, and I just had to try the Hada Labo AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash Foam.

This range from Hada Labo is called Tamagohada, which literally translates into "Egg Skin". Who doesn’t want skin that’s smooth like an eggshell? It’s really a no-brainer yah.. lol..

I’ve had pretty good experiences with Hada Labo, and this cleanser doesn’t disappoint. I love the convenience of the pump that transforms the liquid within into foam. Saves me the effort of lathering.. lol.. The foam itself is unfragranced, which I also like, as my nose is pretty sensitive to scents. One pump is enough for me when I use this in the morning, and it does leave my face feeling clean but not stripped of moisture. I love using this in the morning as it’s not only convenient, but it’s also mild and cleansing power is good. What’s not to love?

Hada Labo’s record for me is still a perfect hit for everything I’ve tried.. I’d recommend anyone to try out some of their products as they have different ranges so it’d be easy to find something that suits your skin type. =)

Weekend Haul

I’ve been feeling under the weather since returning from my KL trip last week. It must be a particularly virulent strand of the virus as I’m still not feeling 100% well, despite two visits to the doctor, and two sets of medication. Darn this flu.. Anyway I was in town on Sunday as usual, and feeling rather pitiful having been mostly resting at home all week, I felt the need to cheer myself up. Just a tiny teeny haul.. hehehe

I popped into Watsons just to take a quick look around (is it weird that I just like to walk around the aisles even if I don’t have anything to buy?) lol.. Anyway since I was feeling in the mood for some self-cheer, I picked up just two items. Aqua Sense’s Hokkaido Grape Masks and Hada Labo’s AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash Foam.

I reviewed the Sapporo Premium Yoghurt Masks and Hakone Oats and Honey Blend Masks from Aqua Sense previously, and I finally got myself the one that’s for my skin type.. lol.. The Hokkaido Grape Masks are for oil control and supposed to shrink pores, both of which I’m extremely interested in, so I’m looking forward to trying this out. The packaging is in line with the rest of the series, which are all terribly cute.. hahaha

I had tried Hada Labo’s AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash Foam very briefly while staying with Ah Plue in KL. It was a pretty decent experience, and since I’m going through a mousse/foam cleanser phase, I figured I needed to get this. haha.. I’ve had generally good experiences with Hada Labo’s products, and this one doesn’t disappoint either. I love how the pump converts liquid into mousse! hahahaha I’m easily amused..

My little weekend haul helped lift my spirits just in time for a brand new week.. It’s always fun to have new playthings yah =P

(means I’m home!) which I’ve been since last saturday. Besides falling sick with acute holiday-withdrawal-itis, I’ve been swamped with work (trying to clear my 1090 emails – not an exaggeration!), and catching up with my friends and family.

I’ve finally got some time to take pictures of my loot and actually sort out my haul..

*Warning – Picture Heavy*

The cute Rilakkuma bag was a GWP from the Rilakkuma shop in Osaka =)

Completely forgot to include this bag of stuff in the overall haul photo! lol…
