Skinfood Black Egg Pore Serum

Cursed with oily skin and pore problems, I’m always on the look out for mattifying products and anything to help conceal my pores/imperfections. This Skinfood Black Egg Pore Serum was purchased for me from Korea by my colleague sometime last year, and I’m finally getting down to reviewing it.

Korea Haul – Sheet Mask Galore

I’ve always been a big fan of sheet masks, they’re a great indulgence at the end of a long day, and a quick fix for my skin. I’ve accumulated a veritable mountain of sheet masks from my travels, mostly from Taiwan, Hong Kong and now Korea. The sheer variety of sheet masks available in Korea is mind-boggling, and they’re very affordable. In most stores, they come in packs of 10s as many people tend to buy in bulk. I saw a lady grabbing at least 10 packs of 10 sheets at Skinfood!! I wish i had the luggage space to do that, buy I had to control myself =P

I think it’s pretty well established that I have a borderline obsession with anything to do with "Matte". Living in the humid tropical equator with oily skin is an act of torture in itself that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. But since I can’t change the weather or move myself further up north, I’ve got to settle for trying any products that promises me "Matte" skin.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!! I don’t celebrate my birthday much, but it’s great having my friends/family around me and I’m really blessed with great people around me =)

Now let’s get on to the topic of the day. Is it technically possible to haul from Korea when I’ve never actually been there? lol… CPs are great.. and CPs are evil too..

Is the bag full?

I have been neglecting my Skinfood Nail polishes as they tend to chip quite easily.. But I was in the mood for something a little darker, I picked up this particular shade of Chocolate Brown which I haven’t really tried out on my hands before.

Turned out pretty well I think. I love the deep Chocolate Brown shade! Pity I nicked it a bit on the ring finger there.. clumsy me.. oops

Friends who travel

What’s the next best thing to travelling? Having friends who travel! When one of my close friends went on vacation to Korea during CNY, I shamelessly wrote her a list of things I wanted from Korea. She managed to get me about half the stuff on my list, but I was pretty satisfied since it only cost of S$55 for all this stuff! It would definitely have cost lots more if I paid retail for them in Singapore, not to mention some of the stuff aren’t even available..

Recently I took some time off from work and went to KL with a girl friend for some quality R&R. Though we did some pretty strenuous things such as climbing 200+ steps up to Batu Caves, went into the Dark Caves which were full of bats, bat shit, cockroaches and god knows what other nasties, and went pretty crazy at Sunway Lagoon. But of course, what kind of holiday would it be without some proper shopping? =)

Though I hauled a fair bit of clothing as well, the highlight really was hauling these babies. I managed to get most of what I had on my shopping list, and then some, so I was pretty satisfied. =P
